David is an experienced chair and is currently Non-Executive Chairman at Speedy Hire plc.
He was formerly the Executive Chair at Esken and Chair at the Amber River Group, Scottish EDGE Fund, Abrdn New Dawn Investment Trust plc and Liberty Living.
David is also a Partner in Buchanan Shearer Associates LLP, an advisory business specialising in turnaround and restructuring and previously Senior Independent Director of STV Group plc, Chairman of Mouchel Group plc and co-Chairman of Martin Currie (Holdings) Limited.
